carriewhite: The queen of wacky

You will have probably seen me around Squidoo as Inkserotica but I shall be using this account to focus on the wackier side of life.

This can include mysteries, the unexplained, the paranormal, the weird and unusual and everything in-between.

Cryptid Sightings

My interest in Cryptozoology was born after I’d read the book by Di Francis, The Beast of Exmoor.

My interest in a subject is compounded when two of my general interests are crossed. E.g. Sensing Murder is a particular interest of mine, now, because it incorporates my interests in murder and psychics.

Cryptozoology became even more of an interest to me because Di Francis suggested that the missing girl Genette Tate could have been the victim of one of the Big Cats in the UK.

Removing and moving on

After a couple of the adult groups I had joined has been disbanded I’ve decided to remove two of my three adult lenses from Squidoo.

I’m quite happy with the decision I’ve made and believe it was the right way to go. To be quite honest, despite my background of writing erotica, I’m gradually moving away from it and writing more in the paranormal and horror genres. I’m a fan of psychological horrors especially so who knows where that may lead me.

Luckily, even removing those two lenses I’m still at 50 lenses and I have one lens in WIP. I’m hoping that this lens will be a popular one and I encourage all ladies especially to come and post your opinion ;)

I hope to get it completed in the next couple of days if nothing else gets in the way!

I had, at this point, run out of ideas for lenses although I have some research material I could use for some natural subjects. They may take me a little while to get started as I seem to have work coming out of my ears at the moment.

I’ve left a couple of Squidoo groups on Ning (not yours GypsyOwl!) as I just can’t find the time to visit all the sites I’m a member of. I’m finding it a bit of a struggle even though I know it would be good both for me personally and my lenses. I just wish I had more time and more hands (or perhaps heads or even bodies, lol!)

Now, I really must go and update a couple of my lenses which haven’t been updated in over a month. Yikes!

More marketing efforts

In an attempt to get these low ranking lenses off the bottom, I’ve been searching for social networking sites and forums (yes, I hate forums but I’m taking these one step at a time) on specific subjects to further increase my backlinks.

I’ve joined, so far, two paranormal sites (one looks dead so am not sure how good that one’s going to be so joined another one), one natural forum which I’m waiting on account activation from and one gaming community.

There are a couple of other health related communities I’ve joined but I’ve not been overly active in those recently.

I should now go back and use one of these blog commenting software that I had obtained to see how good they are in the search for blogs to comment on.

Post will be written on Squidalogue Promotion shortly :)
