Squid Ink

I would like to say a really big thank you to all of you who commented on my last post. That’s one thing I love about Squidoo!

I’ve decided that I will be ‘retreating’ away from this person and will not be taking any notice of any digs towards me that may occur. Not putting a downer on myself in any way, I do make things difficult for people to ‘like’ me sometimes. My mind doesn’t work in a conventional way so it’s hard for others to figure out just what I’m about.

Anyway…

What’s been going on with me?

I’ve been working on revamping a lot of my lenses. I think they look a lot better now and it won’t be long before I go onto the next step of my Giant Squid status plan. I’ll post more about that in my blog, Gsquidinvasion.

Kitty is now on steroids which has given him a new lease of life. His appetite is good and he looks bright eyed. The only thing not good about him is the oedema. He has swelling in his abdomen, legs and chin. He’s also found a different voice. As he is not very quick on his feet any more, he makes his presence known with low, deep moans that sound like swearing. He’s become an old man, namely Victor Meldrew.

I really want to pick him up and cuddle him but he won’t allow that so I have to be content with stroking him as much as I can. I also miss him on my bed where he used to lay down and sleep when I did during the day. The height of the bed is too high for him now so he sleeps a lot on the couch.
