I’m thinking of setting up a Zazzle store…
…What do you think?
I’m not an artist in the sense of drawing but I have my painting by numbers and, more importantly, my photographs.
My pro-photographer boyf says I have a good eye for photography so I could use some of my better ones for Zazzle (and no he’s not biased
)
I could do with the extra income! Has anyone had any success with Zazzle?
What about Cafepress? Which is better for newbies to use?
Are photographs good for designs?
So many questions!

Go for it Carrie! I have just set up my USA store on Zazzle. You can see what I have done so far at AJ and Family and a UK store is planned as well.
We will be using a combination of original photos plus designs made on ArtRage – check out Flynn the Cat’s lenses on ArtRage – there is a link to a free download, that you can do quite a bit with and the upgrade to the full version is less than £20. There’s also great tutorials on the Artrage website.
My store is very much in the early development stage but it will give you an idea of what can be done.
There’s also some great lenses about Zazzle on Squidoo – Kiwi has a good one about how to promote your Zazzle store.
