Goals for 2009 and onwards

Do you make a New Year’s Resolution? Do you find that however hard you try, you never manage to keep them?

Well, it’s not something I’ve ever done officially: make a new year’s resolution but I’ve always kept them inside of my head. Not much good them being there though, which I’ve found out several times before.

So, this year is going to be different.

I’ve decided to create a Squidoo lens which will, hopefully, help me make some plans and keep to them. Every time I think of something I would like to succeed at or complete, it will be published on this lens with a few Squidoo resources to help me (and you!) to succeed. I will then stamp an ‘Achieved!’ logo on each when and if I complete them.

If this, helps you, too to keep to your goals or you happen to have made the same or similar goals to me, then please do let me know :)

It’s uncanny Carrie but our goals for 2009 are very similar!

Good looking goals..writing them down and sharing them for the world to see is certainly a good idea. Just a little pressure is a good thing.

Yup, I wrote my goals down too to make them more “real.” But dedicating a lens to them like you did would probably be even better.

Good goals of yours. All the best for your resolution. I am also managing my new year resolution of not spending the money unnecessarily.

Keep achieving your goals. I will definitely share your experience with you in future also.

Great goals, and I’m sure you will achieve them.

To add even more pressure, why not set a date for them? e.g. put it in your calendar so you know you’ve achieved the final goal. If you need to, break the goal down into chunks so you can measure your progress.

For example, for your weight loss goal, measure your weight at the end of each month, and set the weight target for say, end of June. Then you can see how you’re progressing.

    Happy New Year all!
