London, walking and images
I had a terrific idea for a few lenses last night but they all came into my head just before I dropped off. For a long time after I couldn’t fall asleep!
Typical, huh?
Basically, it involves some of the photographs I have taken, which are displayed on Flickr, making sure I add descriptions to the images I use with backlinks to the related lenses and using my other interest: walking.
This idea came to me after I was trying to work out how to use my images to gain traffic but unfortunately, most of my images bear no relation to the lenses I’ve published so far.
So, I had to think of another way of using them.
Over the years I’ve spent living in London, I’ve done a lot of walking, following published walks and taking photographs of areas around London that were mentioned with the books. I did, originally, set up a walking blog but, for some reason, it died a death.
But, now, it seems I’ve figured out a good way of putting these images and my experiences to good use. Here’s to my next so many lenses!
Cheers!

Looking forward to reading and viewing! Sounds like they’ll make nice lenses.

I loved London, we took one walking tour and just did not have enough time to do all the walking we would have liked to do!

Sounds like a great subject for a lens, or two, or three! You might want to keep a little portable voice recorder next to your bed to record those Squidoo lens ideas. I carry one with me wherever I go, just in case!

Carrie, I have seen some of your photos and I think it’s a great idea you have for your new lenses. Good luck.
Susan’s idea about having a protable voice recorder is great – but am not sure my hubby would want me using one, as I am not sleeping very well at the moment and if I started recording my ideas, he wouldn’t get any sleep either!

Aww thanks everyone!
Susan’s idea is a good one but I’d probably never remember to use it! However, I might just write things down in future!

I have not seen your photos but I’d like to appreciate for your thinking regarding your quality of photos. Bring ideas into actions. Good lucks.
