Wooeee! That was one hell of a weekend!
Talk about needing to confront your own fears (emetophobia to be exact)…Never again, please!
Anyway, because of that and the time it took to get back to relative normal (still not quite there, yet) I’ve been a bit behind with my lenses, blogs and stuff.
But, it has given me an idea for something though indirectly…
Now, I need to get a review done; something which has been long overdue but I thought I would do a Squidoo lens on it which will help promote the book further.
I’m hoping the editor will approve!

Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness - Can it live up to its previous releases?
I recently ordered the game, Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, through Ebay.com. It was an import from HongKong.
It was a game I was looking forward to receiving as Harvest Moon is one of my favourite game series apart from the fact that it wasn’t, at the time, available in the UK.
I’d read one review of the game through Nintendo magazine and I felt that it would be a good game to add to my expanding collection of video games.
So, here is my review…

Deep Link Promotion made easy
You may find that promotion of your Squidoo lens can be quite hit and miss sometimes. You may find that attempts to submit to some directories result in a rejection error or something similar. Why? The most common reason for a submission error to a website directory is because they do not allow deep links or sub pages from a domain.
It could also mean that if you do find a directory that allows a sub page, your link is rejected purely because the domain has already been submitted and indexed.
This lens will give you some good resources that do allow submissions of deep links or sub pages. If you have trouble with any of these resources or discover they require payment, please let me know via the guestbook and I’ll remove them from this lens.

I’m just wondering if anyone sometimes deletes their bottom lens(es)?
Okay, it may just be me, but I’ve got to the stage with some of my lenses that I can’t possibly update it any more. This is a problem I’ve decided to tackle head on by NOT publishing/creating lenses that I don’t have enough information for.
For those poor lenses of mine that I felt I couldn’t update any more, I’ve removed them entirely from the squidosphere.
Just wondering if anyone had felt this way before, too?
If so, how long do you keep poor lenses for?
Or, do you make an extra effort to get them off the bottom rung?

Pernicious anaemia is a condition that, unfortunately, like Clinical Depression, I’m going to have to live with for the rest of my life.
This condition is new to me and despite it making a huge impact on my life, I know very little about it. I haven’t always known about this condition as it was only diagnosed a couple of years ago. However, I didn’t really let it figure much in my mind simply because I didn’t realise just how much of a difference this condition could have on my life.
I still have so many unanswered questions and I suppose I’m frustrated in the lack of information I’ve been given for this condition.
Some of the symptoms I have suffered mimic IBS, a condition which I’ve been kind of diagnosed with, other symptoms seem to have no connection with IBS and the rest could be attributed to pernicious anaemia.
So, here’s my story…

I’m sitting here wanting to set up another Squidoo blog somewhere else and I can’t even update this one sometimes. I get so caught up with one thing that everything else I’m supposed to do goes straight out the window.
I’ve spent so much of my time on Squidoo lately, that I’ve not promoted my other websites, I’ve not been posting as regularly as I should on my blogs, I’ve not completed a review (though I’m finding that one hard to even start) and I’ve not written anything else; no stories, no articles.
I thought women were supposed to be good at multi-tasking? My poor brain can’t cope with life, lol. It freaks out if it gets too much information.
I’m really going to have to set up somesort of plan but I’m useless at following things like that. I’m very much a spontaneous person.
Anyway, I’m going to look at using Craigslist at promoting my lenses and work out what kind of blog I want to do on Squidoo. I know there’s a lens out there somewhere on this. So, off to do some searching whilst I figure out how I’m going to complete this review, too.
Oh! before I forget, here’s my latest additions:
The Film Versus Digital Debate - Two different but similar ways to record your memories or your trips away but which one is better? There could be many reasons for using either film cameras or digital cameras but there has to be one that is better than the other! Do you agree? What do you think? Do you use one over the other? Do you use both methods? What do you like about digital? About film? What does your budget allow? Do you find using film expensive? Restrictive? Do you find you get better quality images if you use digital?
Add one Lens Group - This Group accepts all G rated lenses. Its aim is to give Lensmasters an additional group that has no specific subject/topic criteria for joining. G rated lenses only. The initial idea for this Group would be that for every lens that joined, I would take the time to submit all the other lenses of that lensmaster. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that I can do that
Carrie’s Squidalogue - Squidalogue is, quite simply, a collection or catalogue of Squidoo Lenses.

I’ve decided to make this Lens on coping with grief and bereavement because I’m dealing with them on a day to day basis and have been for the last 22 years.
There will be some point in everyone’s life where we will have to deal with this very difficult time and process and any help, advice or guidance we will receive may help to decrease the length of time that this will occur.
In this Lens, I will cover many aspects of grief and bereavement including ways that we can use to cope and to help lessen the degree of pain we feel.
